The iPhone X is indeed a truly convincing smartphone, but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Firstly, because Apple has made it pretty expensive and secondly, some people just don’t have a taste for iOS. And we are here with a good news that an Android-powered iPhone X is on its way. Doogee, which you might haven’t heard, will offer you the V if you want an iPhone X-like design but with Android.

Here’s the iPhone X dupe shown from every angle, courtesy of ever-reliable Evan Blass:

iPhone’s copycat, right? Doogee opted for the similar edge-to-edge display as the Apple’s, and the knockoff also has a notch at the top. It’s where you’ll find the front-facing camera, earpiece, and ambient light sensor. Unfortunately, the iPhone X’s star feature, TrueDepth technology couldn’t be implemented. But the phone does feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, a feature that probably isn’t going to be mainstream until the second half of 2018.

Most specs aren’t known yet, but Blass did reveal the screen size: 6.2 inches.

Elsewhere the handset draws upon design details we’re likely to find on Samsung’s 2018 flagship. Yes, Doogee seems to have copied the upcoming Galaxy S9. The overall design of the V is similar to previous flagships from the Korean company, and the dual-camera setup on the back is similar to what leaks have revealed on the Galaxy S9+.

Doogee might not sell the V globally, but it would be interesting to see what the lesser-known brands do.
