It has been reported that the smartphone giant, Apple is working on a foldable iPhone that will be launched by the year 2020.
We all can guess by now that Apple is not done with changing the design of the iPhone and bringing new innovations to it.
This information or rumor came from the a Merill Lynch analyst named Wamsi Mohan from Bank of America. Wamsi Mohan said that after a foldable display that can be found in the latest iPhone X, the iOS giant is trying new experiments for its further launches and will launch a foldable iPhone by the next two years.
Although the thought of a foldable iPhone is absurd by the normal people at the moment, they still can’t help but think how the new iPhone would look like, and will it really fold like a rubber toy?
“We expect the iPhones this fall to be largely unchanged for the OLED versions although size changes have proved to be a catalyst in the past” This was written in a note by the analyst on Friday. “Our checks also suggest that Apple is working with suppliers on a foldable phone for launch in 2020.”
At the moment, every iPhone user, or the non-users of iPhone that have found some interest in this rumor although they have no clue whether the news is true or not. This has not been confirmed whether the whole iPhone would be foldable or some specific part of it. And even if the whole device is foldable, will people actually buy it?
It should be noted that Apple has not made a single comment nor any official statement on this rumor. Let’s all wait and see what Apple really has to say about this news and tell us whether there really will be a foldable iPhone or not.
