Asus is now standing first in the line to claim that it has created “world’s slimmest display bezel” for the upcoming CES 2019. All other competitors are working on their display bezels but Asus has reached a different level. The actual game depends upon the webcam which a laptop needs to hold. It necessarily occupies a space which can’t be ignored.
What Asus is working on for slimmest display is neither removing the webcam nor hiding it somewhere on the display. It has designed a notch for the camera, which will be at the top. It will squeeze the webcam into its ZenBook S13.
Furthermore, the company enlightened the fact that the display is 97 percent screen-to-body ratio. The bottom notch is hidden behind the keyboard. The whole footprint is even less than the casual 13.9-inch laptops. The bezels are on either side of the 13.9-inch display, holding an area of 2.5mm.
The Asus’ Zenbook S13 has 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processors along with 1080 display. It further has up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB PCIe SSD storage. The laptop is expected to have two USB-C ports, a USB-A Port and a microSD reader. With competition with the living era, Asus has introduced a fingerprint sensor in the trackpad with which logging into Windows 10 will be on the user’s fingers.
Moreover, Asus’ ZenBook S13 will also be featured with extra ordinary graphics. Even the claim for “world’s thinnest laptop with discrete graphics” is also made. And is known that Nvidia’s GeForce MX150 GPU will be available in ZenBook S13. These graphics will be most beneficial for the gamers who won’t be needing some extra work on their laptops. And users will be able to play the latest games even with the titles at low resolution.
The exact price is still unrevealed and the wait is due for the fans.
