Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s world’s famous “Despacito” is now the most-viewed YouTube video of all time. It has more than 3,035,657,735 views. The song was released earlier in January this year. That means it took less than seven months for the video to break the standing record. The subscribers to Luis Fonsi’s youtube channel also mounted up to around 10 million.
If this sounds familiar to you, that’s because this record was just broken. At the start of this month, Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” from Furious 7 stole the title from Psy’s “Gangnam Style,” which had held the record since 2012. Khalifa got to wear the most-viewed crown for less than a month, and “See You Again” has been out since 2015, as reported by the Verge.
Earlier this month, “Despacito” also became the most-streamed track of all time, including YouTube streams.
