Huawei’s sister brand Honor has unveiled the Honor 9 Lite in China. The handset sports a 5.65-inch 18:9 IPS display, dual-camera setup on both front and rear and the latest Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0. The handset will be up for sale in Chine on December 26.
The Honor Lite 9 is priced at CNY 1,199 for the 3GB/32GB capacity variant. While the 4GB RAM/32GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,499 and the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant will be available at CNY 1,799.
The smartphone features a 5.65-inch full -HD+IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. It is powered by a Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset, clubbed with 3GB/4GB of RAM. The dual-SIM smartphone runs EMUI 8.0, based on Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Honor 9 Lite sports a dual camera setup on both the front and back, with a 13MP + 2MP camera combos on the front and on the back. The handset also features a 32GB/64GB storage both of which are expandable up to 256GB.
As far as the connectivity is concerned, the Honor 9 Lite features Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB with OTG support and 3.5mm audio jack, and a 3000mAh battery. The company says that the smartphone has the ability to deliver a talk time of up to 20 hours on 3G and a standby time of up to 24 days and recharges fully in about 2 hours 20 minutes.
