The Cricket South Africa, also known as CSA and its security team is after the racial abuse faced by Imran Tahir, which was very saddening. The incident took place during the Pink ODl on last Saturday. Tahir faced verbal and racial abuse from the crowd and reported to the stadium security on the spot. He was then escorted by the security to identify the man and expel him out of the stadium.

A raw video on Facebook has been shared which highlights the incident more and show Tahir with his fans. To which he replies ‘I have a family too’.

CSA stood up in this regard and told media they are aware of the circulation of the video and Tahir made no physical contact with the offender or anyone in the vicinity. Racism has and is against the ICC’s code of conduct further any spectator can face sanctions and prosecution if they are found guilty.
