Latest news came out today when the Syrian and Russian government claimed that Israel is behind a deadly attack on a Syrian military airport. The attack hit the Tiyas airbase, known as T4, near the city of Homs. Witnesses say around 14 men were killed.Syria initially blamed the US for the strike but now believes that Israel is behind the attack. Israel has not commented.
The occurrence comes amid global alert over a chemical attack on a Syrian radical held town. The US and France had threatened to respond.
Donald Trump said there would be a big price to pay for this chemical assault.
….to pay. Open area immediately for medical help and verification. Another humanitarian disaster for no reason whatsoever. SICK!

Sergei Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister said the accusation that Mr Assad is behind the attack is nothing but a “provocation”. Moscow has offered “honest investigation” of the incident but opposed apportioning blame without any proof.
Meanwhile, the head of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, Ahmet Uzumcu, expressed “grave concern” about the attack. The organization is currently gathering information about the possible use of chemical weapons.
Is Israel really involved?
Sana, a Syrian state news agency quoted a military source that air defences had repelled an Israeli missile attack on T4, saying the missiles were fired by Israeli F15 jets in Lebanese airspace.
Israel once in a while recognizes doing strikes, however, has conceded assaulting focuses on Syria many times since 2012. Its heaviest air strike on Syria, in February this year, included targeting on the T4 air base.
That followed an invasion by an Iranian drone into Israel and the shooting down by Syrian air defences of an Israeli F16 fighter jet.
