The Korean tech giant is all set to introduce its Infinity Design display to its comparatively affordable Galaxy A next year. We have come across various leaks of the Galaxy A5 (2018) and now another phone with model number SM-730D/DS has leaked with a design similar to this year’s flagship and it might be launched as the Galaxy A8+ next year.
There aren’t any further details about this device but one thing to note here is that the front of the device is exactly same as the Galaxy S8. The device is expected to sport 18:9 aspect ratio and the photo leaked on Weibo suggests that the device will feature a dual-camera setup at the front. Samsung’s Galaxy A (2018) is expected to include the Galaxy A5 (2018), Galaxy A8 (2018) and the Galaxy A8+ (2018).
With the upcoming Galaxy A series, Samsung is also expected to fix the positioning of the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor: it will be placed below the camera instead of placing next to it, as they did with this year’s flagships.
The devices are likely to feature a 5.5-inch or 6-inch display and are expected to use company’s Exynos 7885 SoC or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 chipset in selected markets.
