Lenovo has recently unveiled its new tablet, Lenovo Tab 7 Essential, in the US starting with a price tag of $79.99.

The device sports a 7-inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1024×600 pixels. The tablet is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8167D processor clocked at 1.30Ghz. The device comes with 1gB of RAM and 16GB of onboard memory. As far as the software is concerned, the devices come pre-installed with Android 7.0.

The camera is not so impressive as it features 2MP camera on both front and rear part of the device. While the battery capacity is not known, the company claims it should last for at least 20 hours.

Earlier this week, the company had launched the Tab 7 in India. And it comes with slightly better specs than the latest Tab 7 Essential.
