The Korean tech giant, LG has certainly decided to strengthen its grip in the market. Not satisfied with its latest 88-inch 8K OLED TV, LG will show off another futuristic and one-of-its-kind at CES: a 65-inch 4K OLED display and that’s rollable.
Though we have seen some bendy big-screen TVs at past CES, this one is flexible enough to spin up into a tube form. LG’s images describe it sliding in a small box the size of a soundbar, but the tech giant also talks about making the display portable. The secret behind all this, as usual, is its paper-thin organic light emitting diode display.
The company still hasn’t revealed any details about when it is going to be available in the market, how many bucks it is gonna demand or even how it manages to remain flat and watchable after being rolled.
Stay tuned for more updates on this cool device.
