Among other exciting announcements at IFA Berlin 2017, there was one of the most anticipated ones: the LG V30, the company’s second flagship of 2017. The LG V30 is the upgraded version of the LG G6 with a few additional features. The company has now posted a video showing the flagship’s software features’ enhancements.
The first feature showcased in the video is the V30’s Always-On Display, which is customizable with various designs and toolbars. Second is the Floating Bar, which is the replacement for the V20’s ticker display. Then we have camera features, like a ‘cinematic zoom mode,’ different camera effects, and ‘Graphy.’ Graphy has a broad variety of manual setting presets, so you can still take advantage of the V30’s manual mode without having any knowledge about what an aperture or ISO is.
The video then shows the V30’s voice recognition capability, which enables you to set any word or phrase to unlock the phone, even when it’s turned off. Lastly, we see the V30’s Game Tools, which has shortcuts for capturing a screenshot and scaling the app.ools, which has shortcuts for capturing a screenshot and scaling the app.
It is yet to be seen how useful these features will turn out, but they indeed look convincing. We hope the company pushes the latest Andriod version: Android 8.0 to the ultimate flagship phone in a timely manner.
