LG is expected to release its new upcoming flagship phone, V30, and it is said that the company will release its flagship phone at IFA 2017 press conference in Berlin on August 31. The phone will also be on sale soon.
A member familiar with the company’s developments shared an internal report with Android Authority, which states that the phone is expected to be released on August 31, and it will be going on sale on September 15th in South Korea.
Furthermore, the company is expected to launch US pre-orders for V30 on September 17th, and the phone will go on sale globally on September 28th.
Flagship V30 is rumoured to be the LG’s first ever smartphone that will have an expansive 6-inch edge-to-edge OLED display with super-thin bezels and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. It’s still not clear what configurations it’ll have, but what recent leaks suggest that it will feature 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. It is also expected to have a dual-camera array, as that of LG G6. 3300mAh battery, wireless charging and military standard protection.
V30 is the most awaited smartphone of the year. The phone can be in a competition with the upcoming Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8. And whether or not it can challenge Galaxy Note 8 is yet to be decided.
