The Egyptian winger has been on Liverpool’s radar since January 2014 before he was swooped by Chelsea. Currently, Salah has had his best season yet with Roma, gathering 19 goals and 15 assists making him the top priority for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp this summer.
The former Chelsea player has negotiated personal terms with the Reds and is set to travel to England for his medical on tuesday before he officially joins.
After being moved away on a loan spell just after a year with Chelsea, Salah feels like he did not get to shine properly and wants to return to the premier league to complete unfinished business.
