The recently-revealed OnePlus 5T has grabbed a lot of attention for quite a while now, but now, it’s time for the OnePlus 3 and 3T to shine.

The company has confirmed that both handsets are now being updated to Android’s latest version: Oreo. It’s currently rolling out as the part of the OxygenOS 5.0 update, which is received by a limited number of users but will be rolled out to the public in next few days.

There are lots of other things in this new update. There’s picture-in-picture, a new Quick Settings design, the September 2017 security patches, notification dots, a new app folder design, and more.

Here’s the full list of this update’s new features, courtesy of OnePlus:

  • Update to Android O (8.0)
  • Added Parallel Apps
  • Added Picture in Picture
  • Added Auto-fill
  • Added Smart text selection
  • New Quick Settings design
  • Updated security patch to September

  • Added notification dots
  • New app folder design
  • Now able to upload photos directly to Shot on OnePlus

It’s good to see that the update is actually rolling out to users. Not only are these two handsets, some of the first non-Nexus and non-Pixel phones to receive Oreo update as well.
