Your phone numbers and addresses can now be converted to links on Gmail.

Google has brought a very noticeable update on Gmail. It has rolled out a prominent feature that can automatically recognize addresses, phone numbers, and contacts.

Now Gmail will convert text to hyperlinks whenever it recognizes any contacts, phone numbers, and addresses.

This cool feature really saves up your time from copying the link from the web and pasting it in the mail and vice versa.

If you click or tap the address link, it will directly take you to the exact direction on Google Maps. If you tap the contact, it will make a call with your default phone app. Similarly, if you tap on an email address, the compose window will pop open.
