The most awaited cricket league in Pakistan has already started but the participating teams are facing serious bad luck.
Peshawar Zalmi; the title winner from last year Pakistan Super League faced major blows as its two main players couldn’t participate due to injuries. World number-one all-rounder Shakib Al-Hassan from Bangladesh and another all-rounder Hassan Ali won’t be able to defend Zalmi’s title for PSL 2018.
The winner of PSL first addition, Islamabad United faced its share of bad luck as well. The under-19 player and an energetic yet promising player have been dropped out because of being injured just a week before the big event. Mohammad Hasnain, an emerging talent from Islamabad United is a fast-bowler who was about to showcase his talent in PSL 2018, but sadly he couldn’t do so.
The biggest setback faced by any team in PSL is Lahore Qalandars. The massively-talented batman from Austrailia was the first choice of Lahore Qalandars, but due to a shoulder injury, Chris Lynn was ruled out of the tournament.
Loss faced by the above-mentioned teams will harm their performance and credibility in the third addition of PSL, starting today. Nevertheless, the teams have found replacements for the injured players and will step-in the ground with the newly chosen teammates.
