“THE MOUNTAINS ARE CALLING AND I MUST GO”

You might consider it a production of skill-full Photoshop work or the best art-work of a renowned painter but contrary to all your assumptions, these rainbow coloured mountains are for real! We too had a hard time believing it that how can something this mesmerizing never crossed our sights. But this blog will bring you closer to the art world that you were oblivious of.

WHERE ARE THESE MOUNTAINS SITUATED?

The mountains are part of the Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park in China. Layers of different coloured sandstone and minerals were pressed together over 24 million years and then buckled up by tectonic plates, according to the Telegraph.

There’s a similar formation in British Columbia called the Rainbow Range formed from a mixture of volcanic rock and various minerals.

Even though a lens of a camera can’t do justice with nature’s beauty but these pictures will surely force you to visit China, right now! Time bless our eyes:
