We all know the recently revealed Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is the first phone from the company featuring a dual-camera setup. However, it’s not the first one now as the company has also unveiled the Galaxy J7 Plus in Thailand.
Those of you who have been keeping an eye on Samsung-related rumours already know about the device, as its specs along with a few images have been leaked a week ago. It’s an affordable, mid-range smartphone, which sports its biggest feature of all time: two rear cameras that allow you to take those bokeh images everyone seems to love these days.
The setup sports a 13 MP sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and a 5 MP sensor that has an f/1.9 aperture. Samsung’s latest phone also gives a 16 MP selfie snapper with LED flash, which should make you take better photos in low-light conditions.
The Galaxy J7 Plus sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD resolution and is powered by the MediaTek Helio P20 chipset. It includes 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage that you are able to expand for an additional 256 GB through a microSD card.
The device has a 3,000 mAh battery, a connected fingerprint scanner/home button below the screen, and brings Bixby with it. It has an aluminium body, an always-on display, and runs Android 7.0 with Samsung’s custom user interface on top.
The Galaxy J7 is all set for pre-orders in Thailand, having a price tag of THB 12,900, which is about $390, and comes in three different colour options: black, gold, and pink. But, we are not sure if the company will bring it to other markets, as Samsung hasn’t revealed any details yet.
