Bixby-Powered Smart Speaker
Samsung released a statement that a Bixby-powered Galaxy Home Smart Speaker will be launched in August.
It will be a device that could potentially become a competitor against Apple’s HomePod and the Amazon Echo Plus. The speaker still isn’t available and also, it doesn’t have a settled release date.
Samsung is reportedly also planning to make a second Bixby speaker. It will be in the color black. And it will be a more affordable option that can compete with the cheaper smart speakers in the market.
The second Bixby speaker has the model number SM-V310. While the model number of Galaxy Home is SM-V510. Which gives light to the fact that there may be more Bixby smart speakers in line for the future. There aren’t any known specs for the lower-end speaker yet, but it’s presumed to have fewer of the features Samsung announced for the main Galaxy Home, such as six built-in speakers, a subwoofer, and eight microphones.
Google and Amazon offer devices that are very reliable and famed all across the world. So the economical rates of the Bixby smart speaker will attract a lot of attention towards it.
Samsung has not presented many statements since August about the Galaxy Home. And it still hasn’t confirmed its release date. But the CES 2019 is just around the corner. Therefore, Samsung is sure to make a presence. There is a big possibility that more information will be released.
Till then, we’ll have to desperately wait for it to be launched.
