Samsung was in the race of laptops which were not compatible with the other companies, especially with the biggest competitor, Apple. In fact, all others have certain distinctive features which Samsung lacked. Offering the laptops at a cheaper cost was another setback. But recently Samsung is trying to change the perception about their laptops at CES 2019. The company is coming up with New Notebook 9 Pro, that seems to rebuild the image in this field.
The company is working on the body of Notebook 9 Pro. The tighter corner radii and sharper edges will make this one different form sloping curves and corner, and plastic type look. And the Aluminum Samsung is using will actually feel like an Aluminum which back then used to feel like a Magnesium Alloy.
The entire laptop is not something very unique in the industry. Samsung was left behind, not the whole laptop industry. Thinner bezels, aluminum case and larger keys are not the edges for Samsung Notebook 9 Pro. But the diamond-cut ridges along the edge of the case makes it extraordinary from others.
Though the weight of Notebook 9 Pro has increased from the previous Notebook 9 Pen, the overall experience is good. Through the reports at CES, Samsung has made at least the image of better laptops.
Notebook 9 Pro & the Specifications:
The specifications are not extensive, similar to all other types. It has a quad-core 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8565U processor, a 256GB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage, a pair of Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports on one side of the case, and a regular USB-C port. Furthermore, the Notebook 9 Pro is featured with a headphone jack and a microSD card slot on the other side. A Windows Hello fingerprint reader is built into the power button too.
A feature which Samsung accompanies is found in Notebook 9 Pro too. The 2-in-1 design where the display screens can rotate, and can also become a tablet. It has no S-Pen but an ‘Active Pen’ placed inside the box.
The display they are coming up is a 13.3-inch 1080p display with an 8GB RAM. These features are a bit back as compared to the era we are living in. But if Samsung is starting, they deserve an appreciation.
The company has not put a bit of light on the price. That means it is still not known. Samsung has not only came up with Notebook 9 Pro in the CES but has offered other laptops too.
