Saqib Nisar, the Chief Justice esteemed the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP)’s efforts on initiating a software program that will lead to Pakistani’s voting for the election. The development is under process and has potential to be highly authentic.

The Chief Justice took the lead and a three-member bench of Supreme Court heard a case, involving 16 petitions which were accepted on the January 5th. The petitions put forward the idea of sold infrastructure for overseas Pakistani’s to cast their vote. The estimated audience is at least 8 million.

The Chairman of NADRA, Usman Mobin has given his word that by the start of April the system will be launched. It has already been tested. The chairman was given a 10-week deadline and was valued by the Chief Justice.

On Monday’s hearing, NADRA’s Chairman and ECP are to sit together and add on the ability. The court will take hearing next month.
