Mitsubishi e-Evolution will be featuring three new high-torque and high-performance electric motors that will supply a high-capacity battery system to deliver the smooth and powerfully responsive performance. Two out of the three electric motors are mounted at the rear of the vehicle to allow power between those wheels to better handle through its four-wheel-drive system.

The futuristic car is, in fact, an SUV with an all-electric powertrain. The car will also be featuring Artificial Intelligence system, that will use sensors to identify any change on the roads, “seamlessly coordinating driver intent with vehicle performance,” the automaker says.

A “Coaching System” is also designed to learn the driver’s skills and send relevant information to the driver so the vehicle can be handled easily.

With AI, the driver will be able to use voice-control functions to manage the various car’s system like the wipers, headlights, climate control etc.

The Mitsubishi e-Evolution made its first debut at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show.

The old Lancer Evolution has long gone. But the e-Evolution is a high-performance, all-electric 21st Century 4×4 SUV. It’s everything you ever needed in an SUV.
