Take the Underwater Dives with Your New Buddy!

Another week and another waterproof Nikkon’s Coolpix W300 is announced after Olymous TG-5 and Ricoh WG-50.

Waterproof down to an amazing 30m/100ft, it’ll bear on performing at more depths than most recreational dives, while back on dry land it can withstand a drop of 2.4m/7.9ft.

The Coolpix W300 is also freeze-proof down to -10°C/14°F and dust-proof. Whereas, the Olympus TG-5 and Ricoh WG-50 has some strong credentials, there’s crush resistance mentioned in the press release from Nikkon.

Enjoy the 4K Recording!

The 5x optical zoom continues as before, proportionate to 24-120mm, and like the AW130 the W300 utilizes a 16MP back-enlightened 1/2.3-inch sensor, in spite of the fact that this now offers 4K video catch at 30p, contrasted with Full HD on the more seasoned model.

The Coolpix W300 comes with SnapBridge Connectivity, by which you can easily transfer images between camera and smart device.

The smart Camera also contains built-in GPS that can spot locations and tells you where your images and movies are being recorded. It also comes with map functionality, an altimeter and a depth gauge.

The Coolpix W300 will be available in June with the price expected to be $389.95/£389.99. Australian pricing is yet to be announced.

The camera comes in three colors: Orange, Yellow and Black.
