We all knew that the Xbox One X will output 4K display means when the 1080p screen is connected to 4K device, it supersample the visuals to 1080 resolution. But what happens when the console is connected to 1440p monitors?
Kevin Gammill, program manager for Microsoft’s Xbox Platform Partner Group tweeted yesterday, spreading the good news that the console would output at 1440p if a 1440p monitor was detected.
What about a 1440p monitor hooked up on the X. Does the output still supersample to 1080p?

It’s a good news for people who have 1440p monitors. Moreover, the Xbox One X will be available for retail starting from November 7 onward.
So sit back, relax and play your favorite X box game on 1440p monitors without worrying for the picture quality being upscaled.
