The creator of the most popular classic cult ‘The Room’ and the inspiration of James Franco’s ‘The Disaster Artist’, Tommy Wiseau is back with his new film ‘Scary Love’. Back in 2002, Tommy was able to almost forcefully keep ‘The Room’ in theatres until the Oscars. But of course, his dream to get himself listed in the Oscar nominations never became a reality. However, he at least made it to the stage of globe awards, just as a guest of James Fransco for being his inspiration in ‘The Disaster Artist’.

But Tommy is not satisfied with this limited fame and is ready with his new sci-fiction film, ‘Scary Love’. The first trailer has been released on 3rd March in which we can see Tommy playing a bounty hunter in search of his long lost love. The story was inspired by a road trip both Wiseau and Sestero took after wrapping up the production process of The Room.

What We Know About The Upcoming Film

The film has already been shot but there is no news of the release date yet. According to Jennifer Juniper, who is directing Tommy’s film, describes the film as:

“A science fiction tale told in the style of classic B-movies and outfitted with practical special effects, laser beams and lunatic ideas which are guaranteed to make it the next big midnight movie hit.”

Moreover, Tommy is already collaborating with his ‘The Room’ companion Greg Sestero for “Best F(r)iends” which will be released in two volumes. Volume 1 will be released on March 30 and April 2 while volume 2 will be released on June 1 and June 2.
