The cricket season is about to arrive in Pakistan today. In just a few hours, our mighty social media is going to be flooded with PSL news.
We can’t deny the fact that the topic of cricket in Pakistan is something that can blur all the other on-going issues in the country. Well, that’s what makes us a crazy cricket nation.
The third edition of Pakistan Super league successfully created a lot of hype before the launch, you’ll find people chattering around you about the national and international players representing their respective teams.
Even if you’re not interested in cricket (which is almost a sin in Pakistan) the un-stoppable cricket gossips will force you to see what all the hype is about. There are many factors which have made PSL talk of the town months before its launch, but the real reason is the star players who are about to entertain their fans and their audience this year.
Here’s a list of the best players who will be playing in this edition of Pakistan Super League:
- Shahid Afridi (Karachi Kings)
One can’t just talk about Pakistan’s star players without mentioning Lala. Our very own all-rounder, Shahid Afridi is now going to bless Karachi Kings with his sixes. As soon as Lala steps into the pitch there’s nothing that can shift our eyes from him.
- Kevin Pietersen (Quetta Gladiators)
The most promising team has the most promising player. Kevin always owns the pitch and entertains the audience with his outstanding performance.
- Darren Sammy (Peshawar Zalmi)
Peshawar Zalmi, the team which won the title in PSL’s second addition, is all set to own the tournament with his widely-loved player, Sammy. This guy is a package of entertainment, performance and so much more! No wonder why Pakistanis love him more than any other international player.
- Misbah Ul Haq (Islamabad United)
Misbah is madly loved by people of Pakistan, it’s time to see what he’ll serve to his team that holds the winner title from Pakistan Super League 2016.
- Darren Bravo (Multan Sultan)
This West Indies player is going to showcase his talent from the new addition in PSL, Multan Sultans.
- Shadab Khan (Islamabad United)
This youngster won our hearts last year. From his innocent expressions to his furious performance, Shadab Khan has it all and is one famous name in Islamabad United.
- Mohammad Amir (Karachi Kings)
Our nation’s love for Amir is increasing day by day and we are looking forward to some awesome shots from his side.
- Sarfraz Ahmed (Quetta Gladiators)
Our favourite captain, Sarfraz Ahmed is serving Quetta Gladiators again and this time it looks like he is fully prepared and super confident to ace this game.
- Fakhar Zaman (Lahore Qalandars)
Fakhar became one of the loveable players after his fabulous performance against India in Champions Trophy 2017. Let’s see if he’ll make us jump out of our seats again.
- Keiron Pollard (Multan Sultans)
The energetic, super-entertaining, and an aggressive all-rounder is surely going to entertain the PSL audience.
