The new CEO of Uber, Dara Khosrowshahi wants to take things to the next level.
Though he’ll join the firm from next week, he announced this Wednesday that he’ll take the company public in 18 to 36 months.
The new CEO seems passionate and determined in regaining the lost luster of the firm, he reportedly said in one of his tweets that we need to focus on “paying the bills.”
.@dkhos plan: “Pay the bills” (focus on core business) and “take big shots” (build for the future).

Uber is the world’s most valuable private company worth a total of $68.5 billion. Not denying the fact that the company has been involved in issues from sexual harassment to illegal taxi operations lately but things will get better if Khosrowshahi works with the same devotion and persistence he’s showing right now.
And it might be possible that taking the Uber public would make it more accountable.
